JUDGMENT
Ext. P6 is only an interim order passed by the first respondent on receipt of a complaint regarding the appointments in the petitioner bank. One of the contentions of the complainants is that the statutory circulars are not being followed in the matter of recruitment. The first respondent has ample powers to see whether the statutory circulars are adhered to or not under Section 66A of the Kerala Cooperative Societies Act. 2.
Interest of justice would be met by directing the first respondent to finalise the proceedings within a period of two weeks. The complainants as well as the bank shall be put on notice and heard in the exercise. Whether fresh applications require to be invited pursuant to a new notification shall be considered.
The writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
