J U D G M E N T

The petitioner has taken part in the examination for selection of District and Sessions Judge. His grievance is that he was not served reply to Ext.P1 representation and he was also not given copy of the answer sheets, i.e. paper-I and paper-II prior to the publication of the merit/rank list.

The learned Standing Counsel made available before me the communication dated 25/02/2015 issued by the respondent whereby the petitioner's request pursuant to Ext.P1 representation has been responded. With regard to the second prayer of the petitioner that he should be given copy of the answer sheet prior to the publication of the merit/rank list, the same cannot be acceded to due to transparency of examination and publication of the list. However, if he makes an

W.P.(C).No.7478/2015 -:2:- application under the Right to Information Act, necessarily, the respondent shall give copy of the answer sheet based on the above request after publication of the rank list upon payment of requisite fees, if any.

The writ petition is disposed of as above. No costs.
