J U D G M E N T

The petitioner, trade union of employees of the second respondent board is before this Court seeking initiation of conciliation proceedings as per Ext.P3. The claim was raised before the first respondent as early as on May 2014. It is submitted that nothing has been done on the same till now.

In such circumstances, the first respondent is directed to initiate conciliation proceedings as per the provisions of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this judgment. The parties shall suffer their respective costs. The writ petition is disposed of.
