JUDGMENT

The petitioner has approached this Court with the following prayers :

"(i) Issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction directing the respondent to consider and initiate immediate action with regard to Exhibit P2 within such short time as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit to grant. (ii) Issue such other orders as this Hon'ble Court deems fit and proper in the circumstances of the case."

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner will be satisfied, if a direction is given to the respondent to consider and finalize the proceedings pursuant to Ext. P2 application preferred by the petitioner along with Form No. 10 of Survey Manuel within a reasonable time.

3. Heard the learned Government Pleader as well.

4. Considering the limited nature of relief sought for, this Court does not find it necessary to adjudicate the matter on merits. The Writ Petition is disposed of, directing the respondent to consider and

finalize the proceedings pursuant to Ext. P2 application along with Form No. 10 of Survey Manuel, in accordance with law, with notice to the petitioner, at the earliest, at any rate, within six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
