J U D G M E N T
The petitioner is aggrieved with the refusal of the registering authority to endorse an alteration made to his vehicle, which he has carried out and the vehicle produced for inspection. The Government Pleader on instructions submits that the registering authority has conducted inspection and found that the alteration is not permissible. An Omni bus for private use has now been converted into a recovery vehicle. The inspection reveals that the same is not safe to be used on public roads, is the contention. However, the petitioner submits that he has not been issued with the proceedings so far and that interdicts him from filing an appeal as provided under the Act In such circumstances, the respondent shall communicate the proceedings within a period of three
weeks from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this judgment. The petitioner is entitled to take his remedies before the appropriate forum.
The writ petition is closed. No costs.
