J U D G M E N T

Shaffique, J.

The petitioner has approached this Court seeking police protection in a matter relating to conduct of festival in a temple from 31.3.2015 to 2.4.2015. The petitioner claims to be the Managing Trustee of a charitable trust managing the affairs of Sree Durga-Ayyappa Temple at Mookkannur North Village. The petitioner apprehends law and order situation by certain anti-social elements.

Learned Government Pleader submits that even earlier, the petitioner had approached this Court and by judgment dated 4.4.2014 in W.P.(C) No.9930 of 2014, this Court had observed that police presence would be there when the festival is being conducted. It is submitted that appropriate steps shall always be taken by the police when there is festival in the temple to ensure that law and order is maintained.

W.P.(C) No.7895 of 2015 -: 2 :- Under such circumstances, we do not think that any further direction is required to be passed in this writ petition.
