J U D G M E N T
The petitioner is aggrieved by the non-consideration of the regular permit and the temporary permit application given in the same route.
2. The learned Government Pleader on instruction submits that, the regular permit application was placed in the RTA meeting on 27.02.2015 and a decision is awaited. However, with respect to the temporary permit application, the petitioner did not turn up before the Secretary, RTA on the date notified for such appearance. According to the petitioner, the regular permit application placed before the RTA on 27.02.2015 was adjourned to another date.
3. In any event, the regular permit application would have to be considered by the RTA. However, in the meanwhile, the Secretary, RTA would consider the application for temporary permit, especially since the Field
W.P.(C) No.8094 of 2015 - J Officer's report has been received. In such circumstance, there shall be a direction to consider the temporary permit application by the Secretary, RTA within a period of three weeks from today and the consideration of regular permit application shall also be expedited.
The writ petition is disposed of.
