J U D G M E N T

The period for which the petitioner has been posted on light duty as driver expires on 31.3.2015. The petitioner seeks to extend the period of light duty till the date of superannuation on 30.11.2016. The petitioner has in this regard submitted Ext.P6 representation which is pending with the first respondent.

2. I direct the first respondent to consider Ext.P6 representation on or before 31.3.2015 in the peculiar circumstances of the case. The petitioner is also at liberty to file supplemental representation seeking category change owing to his ill-health. Any motion made in that regard by the petitioner shall be dealt with by the first respondent within a period of two months. Needless to say that Ext.P3 disability certificate and Ext.P4 recommendation of the third respondent shall be adverted to in the exercise. The Writ Petition is disposed of.
