J U D G M E N T

The prayers in the Writ Petition are as follows: "i) To issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ or order directing the respondents 1 to 3 to take immediate and appropriate action against the illegal money lenders and not to recede from their duties.

ii) To issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ or order directing the official respondent to file a report as to why no appropriate steps are taken to register cases and conduct investigation in matters where complaints has been received."

The learned Public Prosecutor was earlier requested to get instructions in the matter. Accordingly, when the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned Public Prosecutor has submitted on instructions from the Investigating Officer concerned (Sub Inspector of Police, Pariyaram Medical College Police Station) that pursuant to the proceedings in Ext.P1 complaint/petition preferred by the petitioner before the police authorities concerned they registered Crime No.325/2015 of Pariyaram Medical College Police Station for offence

W.P(C).No.8601 Of 2015 under Sec.420 IPC. The submission made on behalf of the Investigating Officer is recorded. It is for the Investigating Officer to commence and complete the investigation without much delay. With these observations and directions, the Writ Petition stands finally disposed of.
