JUDGMENT

Ashok Bhushan, Ag.CJ.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Government Pleader. No notice is being issued to party respondents in view of the order being passed. 2.

Petitioner has come up with this Writ Petition praying for police protection to the life of the petitioner from the atrocities and illegal activities of respondents 3 and 4. Petitioner's case is that he is doing fish vending business in which obstruction is being created by private respondents. Petitioner has submitted a complaint before the police. He also referred to an incident which took place on 7-3-2015.

3. Learned Government Pleader, on instructions,

W.P.C. No. 8695 of 2015 - J submitted that on receiving the complaint, police recorded the statement of the petitioner and found that no offence has been committed. Hence, no crime was registered. It is further stated that respondents 3 and 4 were also warned by the police. He further submitted that petitioner has not referred to any permission or license obtained by him from the local authorities for running the business.

In our view of the matter, we see no reason to issue any direction as prayed for. We only observe that in any event, any offence is being committed or attempted, it is open for the petitioner to file a complaint before the police and the police shall ensure law and order.

With the above observation, this Writ Petition is closed. SD/-ASHOK BHUSHAN , Ag. CHIEF JUSTICE SD/-A.M.SHAFFIQUE, JUDGE ani/ /true copy/ P.S. to Judge
