JUDGMENT
The petitioner has approached this Court with the following prayers:
"i) a Writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction commanding the respondents to permit the petitioner to remit his examination fee for Joint Entrance Examination (Main)-2015 as applied by him vide application No.50064489 and to issue admit card to him so as to enable him to appear for the examinations scheduled on 04.04.2015, 10.04.2015 and 11.04.2015.
ii) Issue any other appropriate writ, order or direction as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit on the facts and in the circumstances of the case and allow this petition with all costs."
2. When the matter came up for consideration on 27.03.2015, the following interim order was passed: "The learned Standing Counsel for the respondent Board submits that, the concerned window of the website was closed on 16.01.2015 and as such, nothing can be done at this stage. Post next week."
3. When the matter taken up for consideration today, there
W.P.(C) No.8946 of 2015 is no representation for the petitioner as well. It is seen that the factual position submitted by the learned counsel for the respondent that the website was closed as early as on 16.01.2015 stands unrebutted.
