J U D G M E N T
The petitioner is aggrieved with nonconsideration of Ext.P2 application by which the vehicle in a regular permit was sought to be replaced by producing the current records of another vehicle. 2.
The learned Government Pleader on instructions submits that there is a delay in production of the current records and the current records were not produced within the time granted when issuing a clearance certificate to the vehicle, which was running in the regular permit.
3. In any event, if the current records have not been received at the office of the Regional Transport Authority along with Ext.P2 application and the regular permit has not yet been revoked, then the Secretary, Regional Transport Authority shall consider the same and allow it if there is no other legal impediment, provided the petitioner remits an amount of ` 5,000/- (Rupees Five Thousand only) to the Road Safety Fund, in the head of account "0041-00-800-99(02) other receipts". The payment as directed above shall be made
W.P (C) No. 9012/2015 within two weeks from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this judgment.
The Writ Petition is disposed of.
