J U D G M E N T

The petitioner is the owner of a stage carriage, bearing Registration No.KL-58L 7563, who was granted regular permit subject to the settlement of timings. The petitioner is operating the stage carriage on the route Parayullaparamba-Thalassery which temporary permit is valid up to 24.03.2015 and had made an application for re-issue of the temporary permit, by Ext.P7. Though the said application has been made on 16.03.2015, it is submitted that no steps are taken and the temporary permit already obtained would soon expire.

In such circumstances, there will be a direction to the respondent to consider Ext.P7 application of the petitioner in accordance with law, within a period of one week from today, and issue the permit, if there is no other legal impediment. Writ petition is disposed of as above.
