The prayer of the petitioner is to direct the first respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on Ext.P5, so as to ensure that the 'vishuvela' festival is conducted in the concerned temple without any threat to law and order situation. It is stated that the festival is to be conducted on 18-4-2015 and that the said festival is conducted with the active involvement of the petitioner, temple committee. Some miscreants in the locality are allegedly involved in causing threat to law and order situation, which made the petitioner to file Ext.P5 before the Ist respondent. The inaction on the part of the concerned respondent in dealing with Ext.P5 made the petitioner to approach this Court for immediate intervention .

2. The learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submit on instructions that the first respondent has already given necessary instructions to the

second respondent to maintain law and order situation, by deploying sufficient police force for conducting their festival in a peaceful manner. The said submission is recorded. Appropriate orders, if necessary, shall be passed on Ext.P5 so as to meet the requirement to an appropriate extent, to enable the festival of the temple to be conducted smoothly without any threat to law and order situation.

3. It is made clear that this verdict does not intend to deal with civil dispute, if any, between the parties concerned.

The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. P.R. RAMACHANDRA MENON, JUDGE smm
