JUDGMENT

The petitioner availed an educational loan. The petitioner has two fold grievances. According to the petitioner, the Central Government have issued a Scheme regarding waiver of interest. He has also other relief based on the One Time Settlement Scheme. 2.

This Court on 25.3.2015 ordered the petitioner to remit Rs.1,00,000/-. The petitioner submits that he has already paid the amount.

Considering the facts and circumstances, I am of the view, the Bank shall take a decision in the matter in respect of the claim of the petitioner based on the Central Government Scheme and also based on the proposal made to settle the liability under the One Time Settlement Scheme. Needful shall be done by the Bank within two months. To work out all possible method for the petitioner to settle the liability, the entire Revenue Recovery Proceedings shall be deferred for a period of three months.

The writ petition is disposed of as above.
