JUDGMENT
Ext. P2 application for renewal of regular permit filed belatedly is pending consideration with the first respondent. Ext. P4 application for temporary permit to operate stage carriage service in the meanwhile is pending consideration with the second respondent.

I direct the second respondent to consider Ext. P4 application in terms of Section 87(1)(c) of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988. The needful shall be done with notice to the petitioner within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
3.
The petitioner shall be permitted to operate the stage carriage service on the basis of Ext. P1 regular permit as extended till such time.
The writ petition is disposed of.
