JUDGMENT
The petitioner, who is the registered owner of a Maruti Omni Van bearing registration No.KL-7/V 1888 has filed this writ petition seeking a writ of mandamus commanding the 1st respondent to return the original Registration Certificate of the vehicle to the petitioner forthwith and seeking other consequential reliefs.
2. On 20.05.2015, when this case came up for final hearing, the learned Senior Government Pleader sought time to get instructions as to whether the original Registration Certificate of the vehicle has already been returned to the petitioner.

Today, the learned Senior Government Pleader on instructions submitted that the Registration Certificate and connected application submitted by the petitioner were returned to him in the year 2011 itself and the vehicle was also handed over to the petitioner, before the Sub Inspector of Police, Cheruthuruthy.
W.P.(C) No.12267/2011 In such circumstances, no further orders are required in this writ petition and the writ petition is closed recording the submission made by the learned Senior Government Pleader. SD/- ANIL K. NARENDRAN, JUDGE
