JUDGMENT
The petitioner has approached this Court with the following prayers:
"a) Issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction directing the respondents to permit the petitioner to register for and attend the 6th semester Computer Hardware Maintenance Examination (Diploma Programme) by condoning his attendance deficiency; and b) Pass such other orders as this Honourable Court deems fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case."
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.
3. During the course of hearing, it is brought to the notice of this Court that, the particular circumstances, under which, the petitioner could not fulfil the requisite extent of attendance (medical reasons), have been explained by way of Ext.P7, which is pending consideration before the first respondent. The prayer
W.P.(C) No.9271 of 2015 is to cause the same to be considered and disposed of forthwith, so as to enable the petitioner to appear for the concerned examination without loss of year.
4. In the said circumstances, there will be a direction to the first respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on Ext.P7 forthwith, so as to have redressal of the grievance of the petitioner as projected in the writ petition. The petitioner shall produce a copy of this judgment, along with a copy of the writ petition, before the first respondent, for further steps.
The writ petition is disposed of.
