JUDGMENT

The petitioner was appointed as a junior lecturer in Botony with effect from 9/7/2009. The above appointment was approved by the Registrar of University as per the proceedings dated 11/11/2009. By Ext.P2 order dated 27/3/2010, the first respondent re-designated the post of lecturers as Assistant Professors. Therefore, the petitioner submitted Ext.P5 representation to the 3rd respondent requesting to re-designate her as Assistant Professor. Similar requests have been made by the Principal of the College, in which the petitioner is working, vide Exts.P3 and P4. The only prayer of the petitioner before this Court is for issuance of a direction to the 3rd respondent for an early disposal of Exts.P3,P4 and P5.

2. In view of the above facts and circumstances, there shall be a direction to the 3rd respondent-Deputy Director of Collegiate Education to consider Ext.P3,P4 and P5, after

affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this months.

The writ petition is disposed of as above.
