JUDGMENT

Shaffique, J.

Petitioner has approached this Court seeking police protection alleging harassment by the 3 rd respondent. According to the petitioner the 3 rd respondent is a drunkard, a local goonda and he is unnecessarily causing harassment to the petitioner's daughter. An interim order has already been granted by this Court on 10-5-2014 directing the police to afford adequate and effective police protection to the life of the petitioner and her family members.

2. Learned Government Pleader submits that after the interim order has been passed appropriate action has been taken

W.P.C. No. 12153 of 2013 - T and as matters stand now, no untoward incident is reported.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the interim order should be sustained. If at all there is any further threat from the 3 rd respondent, it is always open for the petitioner to approach the police, who shall look into the matter and act in accordance with law.

With the above observation, this Writ petition is closed. Sd/- ASHOK BHUSHAN , Ag. CHIEF JUSTICE Sd/- A.M.SHAFFIQUE, JUDGE ani/ /true copy/ P.S.to Judge
