JUDGMENT

The petitioner claims that she is a senior most H.S.A. in Sacred Heart High School, Kanthalloor. She submits that the Manager of the school is attempting to make appointment of some other teacher as Headmaster of the school overlooking the petitioner's seniority. The petitioner submits that she has appeared for the Departmental test and the results will be published before 31/3/2015 i.e. before the date of occurrence of the vacancy. The petitioner, apprehending that the first respondent-Manager will make appointment overlooking her claim for the post of Headmistress, has approached this Court.

2. I am of the view that the petitioner's grievance shall be adverted to by the 5th respondent- D.E.O. before granting approval to any other person appointed by the Manager.

3. Accordingly, there shall be a direction to the 5th respondent that no approval shall be granted to any person

appointed by the Manager as Headmaster/Headmistress of the school without adverting to the petitioner's claim for appointment as Headmistress.

The writ petition is disposed of as above.
