JUDGMENT

The petitioner is a Santhi working under the first respondent Board. The petitioner submitted an application to the 3rd respondent seeking transfer to the post of Keezhsanthi in Ettumanoor Devaswom. The petitioner submitted that the 3rd respondent vide Ext.P6 order transferred the 4th respondent, who is junior to the petitioner, to Ettumannor Devaswom as Keezhsanthi. Aggrieved by Ext.P6, the petitioner approached the first respondent by filing Ext.P7 appeal. The petitioner also submitted that he is entitled for priority as per Ext.P2. The petitioner prays for a direction to the respondents for an early disposal of Ext.P7.

2. In view of the above facts and circumstances, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to consider Ext.P7, after hearing the petitioner and the 4th respondent within three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.

3. If Ext.P6 is not already given effect, status quo shall be maintained till the decision is taken by the first respondent on Ext.P7.

The writ petition is disposed of as above.
