JUDGMENT

The petitioner is working as a contingent worker in the first respondent Municipality. The petitioner submits that there are more than 47 vacancies exist in the sanitation wing of the first respondent-Municipality and the petitioner should be regularised as a sanitary worker. The petitioner approached the Municipality by Ext.P3. Petitioner submits that Ext.P3 is still pending. In this writ petition, the petitioner seeks a direction to the respondents for an early disposal of Ext.P3.

2. In view of the above facts, there shall be a direction to the 2nd respondent to take appropriate action on Ext.P3. If it is required, Ext.P3 shall be placed before the Council for appropriate decision in the matter. Needful shall be done in the matter within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.

The writ petition is disposed of as above.
