JUDGMENT

The petitioner seeks issue of fresh registration certificates for the vehicles. The applications put in by the petitioner in this regard are pending. The petitioner relies on Section 51(5) of the Motor Vehicles Act in this connection. Respondents 2 and 3 also made a claim to the vehicles. 2.

I direct the second respondent to consider the applications for issue of fresh registration certificates. The same shall be done with notice to the petitioner as well as respondents 2 and 3. The needful shall be done within a period of one month from the date of production of a copy of this judgment. The provisions of Section 51(5) of the Motor Vehicles Act referred to above shall be adverted to. The writ petition is disposed of.
