JUDGMENT

The petitioner is aggrieved by the inaction on the part of the respondents in taking action to fill up the post of doctors and other staff in the Community Health Centre, Melady. The petitioner alleges that the Primary Health Centre which was working there for long was upgraded to a Community Health Centre in 2008. The petitioner further alleges that proposals for appointment of necessary staff was submitted to the Government in 2009. However, no action has been taken to fill up the said posts and people in the locality was deprived of the benefits contemplated while upgrading the health centre. It is with this background, the petitioner has approached this Court.

2. Today when the matter came up for hearing, the learned Senior Government Pleader inviting my attention to the counter

WP(C)12299/13 -:2:- affidavit submitted that, at present there are sufficient infrastructural facilities in the hospital and that not even a single post is kept vacant. Recording the aforesaid submission, the writ petition is closed directing the Government to continue with the present facilities in the community Health Centre without fail.
