J U D G M E N T

The petitioner has approached this Court with the following prayers:

"i.

Issue a writ by way of mandamus or other appropriate writ, order or direction to the 1st respondent to dispose TLB 17/1990 pending before it for the past 23 years within a specified time frame.

ii.

Issue a writ of mandamus or direction or other appropriate writ, order or direction to the 1st respondent to dispose of the Exhibit P3 petition and finalize the above case pending before it within a specified time frame.

iii.

Issue such other appropriate writ, order or direction which this Hon'ble Court may deem fit in the circumstances of the case."

Heard the learned Government Pleader as well. 3.

Considering the limited extent of relief sought for, this Court does not find it necessary to go into the merit of the case. The writ petition is disposed of, directing the 1st respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on Ext.P3, in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and other interested parties, if any. It shall be done, at

WP(c). No.10171 of 2015 the earliest, at any rate, within 'four months' from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.

The petitioner shall produce a copy of this judgment along with a copy of the writ petition before the 1st respondent for further steps.
