J U D G M E N T

The petitioner has approached this Court with the following prayers:

"i.

To issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction, commanding the 2nd respondent to consider and pass orders on Ext.P3 within a time frame fixed by this Hon'ble court.

ii.

To issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction, commanding the 2nd respondent to permit petitioner for utlising the land comprised in Block No.04 of Re survey No.232/1 and 232/2 of Thrikandiyur Village of Malappuram District for the purpose other than paddy cultivation as per Kerala Land Utilisation Order.

iii.

And to pass such other appropriate orders or directions as this Hon'ble Court deems fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case."

Heard the learned Government Pleader as well. 3.

Considering the limited extent of relief sought for, this Court does not find it necessary to go into the merit of the case. The writ petition is disposed of, directing the 2nd respondent/Revenue Divisional Officer to consider and pass

WP(c). No.10244 of 2015 appropriate orders on Ext.P3 as per the Kerala Land Utilisation Order. It shall be done, at the earliest, at any rate, within 'two months' from the date of receipt of a copy of the judgment. The petitioner shall produce a copy of the judgment along with a copy of the writ petition before the 2nd respondent for further steps.
