J U D G M E N T

The petitioner availed an educational loan from the respondent Bank. On account of non repayment of the loan, the Bank initiated revenue recovery proceedings. The petitioner impugns the same in this writ petition.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, the petitioner may be given some time to wipe off the entire liability. It is also submitted that, the petitioner has secured an admission for P.H.D in U.S. and he would be able to discharge the entire liability.

3. The learned Standing Counsel for the Bank submits that the total liability of the petitioner is around 2,50,000/- along with ₹ incidental expenses and future interest.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this writ petition is disposed of with the following directions :

1. The petitioner shall remit the entire liability in four equal monthly installments starting from 10.07.2015 onwards.

2. If the petitioner fails to pay any of the installments, the Bank is at liberty to proceed against the petitioner.

3. To work out above reliefs, all revenue recovery proceedings against the petitioner shall be deferred in tune with the directions.
