J U D G M E N T
Being aggrieved of Ext.P3 order passed by the 2nd respondent/District Collector & District Magistrate with regard to rejection of the application for renewal of the gun licence possessed by the petitioner, the petitioner has already moved the 1st respondent/Commissioner, Land Revenue, by way of appeal. Prayer is to cause the same to be considered and disposed of, within a reasonable time.

Heard the learned Government Pleader as well. 3.
In the above circumstance, there will be a direction to the 1st respondent/Commissioner, Land Revenue to consider and pass appropriate orders Ext.P4, in accordance with law and also in the light of the observation made by this Court as per the decision reported in Chandran Nair V. Additional District Magistrate (2015 (1) KLT 41). It shall be done, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, at the earliest, at any rate, within 'three months' from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
