J U D G M E N T

Ashok Bhushan, CJ Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader.

This writ petition has been filed alleging police harassment. Petitioner's case is that at the instance of the landlord/3rd respondent, petitioner, who is the tenant, has been asked by the police authorities to appear. It is submitted that the petitioner is being forced to vacate the premises.

The learned Government Pleader, after obtaining instructions, submits that complaints were received from the landlord that he has been assaulted and abused. In that connection, petitioner was asked to appear on 30/03/2015 and the petitioner himself has undertaken to appear on 02/04/2015.

Having regard to the aforesaid submission of the learned Government Pleader, we do not think that this is a case of police harassment and accordingly this writ petition is closed.
