JUDGMENT

The petitioner has approached this Court with the following prayers:

"i. Issue a writ of mandamus or other appropriate writ order or direction directing the 3rd respondent to dispose off the application for renewal of Ext.P1 series of quarrying permits submitted by the petitioner as per Rule 12 of the Kerala Minor Mineral Concession Rules, 2015, as expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within 2 weeks. ii. Issue such other appropriate writ order or direction that may be deemed to be just and equitable in the facts and circumstances of the case."

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the grievance of the petitioner has also been projected by way of Ext.P2 request before the 3rd respondent and that the petitioner will be satisfied, if a direction is given to the said respondent to have it considered and disposed of within a reasonable time.

2. Heard the learned Government Pleader as well.

3. After hearing both the sides, the writ petition is disposed of, directing the 3rd respondent to consider and pass appropriate

W.P.C. No. 10787 of 2015 -2orders on Ext.P2 in accordance with law, after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner at the earliest, at any rate, within 'six weeks' from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.

The petitioner shall produce a copy of the judgment along with a copy of the writ petition before the 3rd respondent for further steps.
