JUDGMENT

Counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the writ petition, reserving his right to get the excess tax amounts paid to the respondents during the pendency of the writ petition, adjusted towards future dues of motor vehicle tax.

2. Heard Sri.Benhur Joseph Manayani, the learned counsel for the petitioner and Smt.K.T.Lilly, the learned Government Pleader for the respondents. The learned Government Pleader would submit on instructions that the excess amounts by way of motor vehicle tax paid during the pendency of the writ petition can be adjusted towards the future dues of motor vehicle tax from the petitioner.

Recording the submission of the learned Government Pleader. The permission sought for is granted and the writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
