JUDGMENT

The petitioner was before this Court alleging that the petitioner's hall ticket for 8th semester B.Tech Degree examination which was to start on 13.05.2010 was illegally withheld. The petitioner was granted an interim order, where the petitioner was directed to be admitted to the 8th Semester examination provisionally.

2. The University has filed a counter affidavit, in which it has been stated that the petitioner's involvement in a malpractice, was pending enquiry and it was hence that the petitioner's hall ticket was withheld. It is also submitted that the petitioner was permitted to appear for the examination as per the interim order.

3. An enquiry is said to have been initiated, with a Syndicate member appointed as the Enquiry Commission. Definitely the findings in the enquiry and the punishment, if any, imposed by the University would regulate the publication of the

WP(C).No.14680 of 2010 - 2 - results. In such circumstance, the publication of the results in which the petitioner appeared provisionally, as per the interim orders of this Court, would depend upon the result of the enquiry conducted against the petitioner.

The writ petition is disposed of as above.
