Shaffique,J Petitioner has approached this Court seeking police protection alleging that the 5th respondent, along with some goondas, have forcibly entered into his property and threatened his wife in his absence and harassed them by demanding huge amounts. It is stated that there was some business partnership with the 5th respondent and later the firm was dissolved as per deed of dissolution dated 19/08/2013. Despite the fact that the entire issue has been settled, still the petitioner is being threatened by demanding more amounts. Though Ext.P3 complaint was given to the police seeking police protection, no action has been taken in the matter.
2.
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader.
3.
We do not think that necessary particulars are available in Ext.P3 for the police to initiate appropriate action. However, If any offence is committed or there is any attempt to commit offence, it is always open for the petitioner to file necessary complaint before the police who shall look into the matter and take appropriate action, in accordance with law.
This writ petition is disposed of as above.
