J U D G M E N T
The petitioner, who was working as a Principal in a self financing B.Ed College, had responded to Ext.P1 notification issued by the 1st respondent University inviting applications for various posts including that of an Assistant Professor. In the writ petition, the petitioner was aggrieved by the condition inserted in the interview letter, that was issued to him in connection with the selection process, wherein, it was indicated that candidates who were working in self financing colleges, had to produce an experience certificate counter signed by the Director of Collegiate Education, as a condition for their eligibility to be considered for interview. It was the contention of the petitioner that such a condition in the interview letter was against the terms of the notification which did not contain any such stipulation.

In that view of the matter, the grievance of the petitioner in the writ petition stands redressed through the non-insistence by the 1st respondent University of the conditions stipulated in the interview letter. Thus, recording the submission of counsel for the 1st respondent University, the writ petition is closed by permitting the 1st respondent University to go ahead with the selection process, by treating the petitioner at par with the other candidates while completing the selection process.
