JUDGMENT

The petitioner has approached this Court with the following prayers :

(i) Issue a writ of mandamus or appropriate writ, order or direction directing the respondents to take expeditious steps to do the re-tarring/maintenance work of Ponkunnam - Azheekkal- Kuruvamoozhi road before June 2015.

(ii) Issue a writ of mandamus or appropriate writ, order rd respondent to consider and or direction directing the 3 dispose of Ext. P1 representation forthwith.

And (iii) To grant such other reliefs as this Hon'ble Court may deem just and fit in the circumstances of the case.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner will be satisfied, if a direction is given to the third respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on Ext. P1 representation preferred by the petitioner for proper maintenance of Ponkunnam - Azheekkal - Kuruvamoozhi road within a reasonable time.

3. Heard the learned Government Pleader as well.

4. Considering the limited extent of relief sought for, this Court does not find it necessary to go into the merits of the case. The Writ Petition is disposed of, directing the third respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on Ext. P1 representation, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and other interested parties, if any, at the earliest, at any rate, within two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. Petitioner shall produce a copy of this judgment along with copy of the writ petition before the third respondent for further steps.
