J U D G M E N T
Shaffique, J.
The petitioner has approached this Court seeking police protection alleging that respondents 6 to 8 are causing obstruction in the matter relating to construction work being carried out by the petitioner. It is also alleged that the petitioner and her husband were threatened by the 6th respondent and his men.

Learned State Attorney on instructions would submit that on enquiry by the police, it was revealed that the petitioner's husband was involved in an assault against the 6th respondent. When the parties were questioned, they submitted that they will not create any further obstruction to the construction being carried out by the petitioner.

Having regard to the fact that the police had already enquired into the complaint and taken preventive measures, we do not think it necessary to pass any direction as sought for. We only observe that if there is any further offence being committed
W.P.(C) No.11557 of 2015 -: 2 :- or attempt to commit offence, on the complaint of the petitioner, the police shall look into the matter and do the needful. This writ petition is closed accordingly.
