JUDGMENT

The petitioner has approached this Court with the following prayers:

"(i) Issue a writ of mandamus or appropriate writ direction or orders directing the respondents to consider Exhibit P6 and disburse the amount of compensation specified in Section 4 of Artha Palisa, Janmibhogam and Kalathil Chilavu (Abolition) Act,2007 as expeditiously as possible.

(ii) render such other orders as are deemed fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case."

2. Heard the learned Government Pleader as well.

3. Considering the limited extent of relief sought for, this Court does not find it necessary to adjudicate the issue on merits.

4. After hearing both the sides, the writ petition is disposed of, directing the second respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on Ext.P6 representation preferred by the petitioner, after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and interested parties, as expeditiously as possible, at the

W.P.(C) No.11584 of 2015 earliest, at any rate, within ' two months' from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.

Petitioner shall produce a copy of this judgment, along with a copy of the writ petition, before the second respondent, for further steps.
