J U D G M E N T
The petitioners in this writ petition are Lower Division Clerks in the service of the Kerala Coir Workers' Welfare Fund Board, hereinafter referred to as 'the Board' for short. According to them, the Board is not disbursing the monetary benefits due to them, such as pay revision benefits, earned leave surrender, D.A. arrears, increments etc., on the ground that this Court had directed in Ext.P2 judgment to maintain status quo as regards the service of the employees of the Board. According to the petitioners, Ext.P2 judgment has nothing to do with the disbursement of the monetary benefits due to the petitioners.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Standing Counsel for the Board.

It is seen that as per Ext.P2 judgment, this Court had disposed of a batch of writ petitions involving disputes relating to the inter se seniority of the employees of the Board. As per the said judgment, this Court had directed the Government to take a decision as to the method by which the inter se seniority of the employees of the Board is to be determined and directed the Board to settle the disputes on the basis of the decision of the Government. As per the said judgment, this Court had also directed that the status quo as regards the employees of the Board shall be maintained till a final decision as directed in the judgment is taken. The learned Standing Counsel for the Board conceded that the decision on the inter se seniority of the employees of the Board as directed in Ext.P2 judgment will not have any bearing on the entitlement of the petitioners to claim the monetary benefits referred to in the writ petition. 4.
In the light of the submission made by the Standing Counsel for the Board, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the Board to consider the claims of the

petitioners for the monetary benefits referred to above and disburse the amounts found due, within a period of two months from today.
