A.K.JAYASANKARAN NAMBIAR, J.

............................................................. ............................................................. Dated this the 17th day of September, 2015 J U D G M E N T The petitioner in the writ petition is aggrieved by the proceedings initiated against the petitioner, who was a Director of a company, for the dues owing from the company to the State Government. Highlighting his grievance with regard to the recovery proceedings initiated against him under the Revenue Recovery Act, the petitioner has preferred Ext.P9 representation before the 1st respondent and the limited prayer of the petitioner in the writ petition is for a direction to the 1st respondent to consider and pass orders on Ext.P9 representation expeditiously, after hearing the petitioner.

2. I have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for the respondents. On a consideration of the facts and circumstances of the case and submissions made across the bar, I dispose the writ petition with a direction to the 1st respondent to consider and pass orders on Ext.P9 representation after hearing the petitioner within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. The

interim order of status quo that was passed by this Court, against the recovery proceedings against the petitioner, shall continue till such time as orders are passed by the 1st respondent as directed and communicated to the petitioner.
