No representation for the petitioners. The matter stands posted for orders.

According to the petitioners, the amendment of the Kerala State and Subordinate Service Rules effective from 02.02.2006 requires the Public Service Commission to draw supplementary list of candidates not less than five times the reservation quota from each community. According to them, if it had been followed, they would have got included in the ranked lists. However, the PSC did not adhere to it. Hence, the petitioners have come up before this Court.
It appears from record that the matter has become infructuous as the petitioners are challenging the short lists published by the PSC in the year 2006. Therefore, the writ petition is closed without examining the merits. Sd/- A.V. RAMAKRISHNA PILLAI JUDGE bka/-
