JUDGMENT

The petitioner is the owner of a stage carriage, bearing Registration No.KL-05/K 8707. According to the petitioner, he has submitted an application for regular permit on the route Kollam Andamukkam - Ayoor, a copy of which is produced at Exhibit P1. It is averred that the said route is an ill served one and traverses through many ill served areas. Since there is delay in considering the regular permit application and the vehicle is lying idle, the petitioner filed an application for temporary permit for four months, evidenced by Exhibit P2. The petitioner prays for expeditious disposal of Exhibit P2, pending Exhibit P1 application for regular permit. In such circumstances, there will be a direction to the respondent to consider Ext.P2 application of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders thereon in accordance with law, within a period of ten days from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. Writ petition is disposed of as above.
