JUDGMENT
Petitioner and her husband are joint owners of 2.12 Ares of property comprised in Sy.No.358/8-1 of Uliyazhthara Village, Thiruvananthapuram Taluk. Exhibit P1 is the tax receipt evidencing payment of basic tax by the petitioner. The petitioner has moved Exhibit P6 application before the respondent seeking permission to convert the aforesaid property and as evident from Exhibit P6(a), the respondent has already acknowledged receipt of the aforesaid application. Now the grievance of the petitioner is that Exhibit P6 application is still pending consideration before the respondent.
2. I heard the arguments of learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondent.
WP(C).12738/15 Considering the fact that Exhibit P6 application submitted by the petitioner is pending consideration before the respondent, I deem it appropriate to dispose of the Writ Petition directing the respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on the aforesaid application as expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this judgment with notice to the petitioner and taking note of the principles laid down by the Apex Court in Revenue Division Officer v. Jalaja Dileep (2015(1) KLT 984). ANIL K.NARENDRAN JUDGE vgs24/4/15
