The petitioner approached this Court with the following prayers:
i.
Issue a writ of certiorari or any other appropriate writ, order or direction, quashing all proceedings of the 4th respondent leading to Ext.P4 including the issuance of building number UP IX/428A, building tax assessment in favour of the 5th respondent;

2. The learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that subsequent to the filing of the writ petition, the Panchayat issued order No.A5-1058/12 dated 25.1.2014 cancelling the allotment of building number to the 5th respondent, after conducting an enquiry on the complaint preferred by the petitioner and on
W.P.(C) No.16506 of 2012 :2:
arriving at a finding that the 5th respondent had deliberately mislead the Panchayat on account of which they had alloted the building number. The petitioner is satisfied with the proceedings dated 25.1.2014 of the Panchayat. In the light of the above, no further orders are necessary in the case. Accordingly the writ petition is closed.
