JUDGMENT

The petitioner, who is the permit holder operating on the route Palakkad - Pazhambalakkode with vehicle bearing No.KL12-D-6179, has moved Ext.P2 application before the respondent seeking replacement of the vehicle. The grievance of the petitioner is that Ext.P2 application is still pending consideration before the respondent.

2. I heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and also the learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondent. Without going into the merits of the case, this writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on Ext.P2 application with notice to the petitioner, as expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this judgment.
