JUDGMENT

The petitioner has made an application for regular permit on the route Ommassery - Koduvally - Thamarassery via ManipuramPuthoor Jn, Alinthara, Matholatham, Kaduva Bridge, Kuruvanpoyil, Pulparamba Mukku, Chundappuram, Arangode, Kalaranthiri, Andona and Muthambalam. He has been issued with Ext.P1 temporary permit in the very same route, which has validity till 05.05.2015. By Ext.P2 the petitioner has been granted regular permit in the aforesaid route. Pending settlement of timing, the petitioner has made Ext.P3 application before the respondent for re-issue of the temporary permit for a further period of four months. Now, the grievance of the petitioner is that Ext.P3 application is pending consideration before the respondent.

2. I heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondent. Considering the fact that Ext.P3 application submitted by the petitioner for re-issue of temporary permit is pending consideration before the respondent, this writ petition is disposed of as follows: If Ext.P2 application for temporary permit is still pending consideration before the respondent and that vacancy is still in existence, there will be a direction to the respondent to issue

W.P.(C)No.12829 of 2015 temporary permit for the period of four months duration to the petitioner within a period of three weeks from the date of production of a copy of this judgment, if there is no legal impediment in granting the same, by passing appropriate orders on Ext.P3 application. Needless to say that the re-issuance of temporary permit will be subject to preference of affected persons, if any.
