JUDGMENT

Petitioner is a stage carriage operator operating in the route Ayoor - Anchal with stage carriage bearing registration No.KL-05-N-6664 in the vacant timing of stage carriage bearing registration No.KL-02-M-6258. The petitioner was granted a temporary permit, which was valid till 29.12.2014. The said temporary permit was reissued by Exhibit P1 till 29.4.2015. He has filed Exhibit P2 application before the respondent for re-issue of that temporary permit. The petitioner has approached this Court in this Writ Petition seeking disposal of Exhibit P2 application.

2. I heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondent.

3. Considering the fact that Exhibit P2 application is pending consideration before the respondent, this Writ Petition is disposed of as follows:

If no other person having a better claim has applied for re-issuance of temporary permit, there will be a direction to the respondent to re-issue the temporary permit for four months duration within a week from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this judgment, by passing appropriate orders on Exhibit P2. Needless to say, such issuance of temporary permit will be subject to the preferential claim, if any.
