The petitioners have approached this Court alleging Police harassment on the ground that the 2nd respondent is forcing the petitioners to execute sale deed in accordance with an agreement, which is said to have been entered into between the 4th respondent and the petitioners.

The learned State Attorney appearing for respondents 2 and 3 submits on instruction that, with respect to the above subject matter, another person had filed a complaint before the Police and the parties were summoned to the Police Station. On production of the agreement for sale, it is submitted that, the Police were convinced that it is a civil dispute and hence no further action was taken and the complaint also is said to have been closed.
W.P(C) No.12950 of 2015-P In such circumstances, recording the above submission, the Writ Petition shall stand closed.
