J U D G M E N T

Ext.P1 bill demanding a sum of ` 26,463/- from the petitioner is impugned. The Standing Counsel appearing for the Kerala State Electricity Board points out that Ext.P1 bill includes monthly arrears, interest for belated payment for earlier period and tariff revision short.

2. The petitioner is free to file a detailed representation to the Assistant Engineer concerned within a period of two weeks from today. Any such representation shall be dealt with as per law after notice to the petitioner within a period of two weeks therefrom.

3. The petitioner has reportedly remitted a sum of ` 5,000/- in compliance with the interim order passed in this writ petition. Therefore coercive steps for realisation of the balance amount shall be put on hold till the representation if any filed is disposed of as directed above.

The Writ Petition is disposed of.
