The writ petitioner is working as Junior Assistant and Outlet-in-charge at Civil Supplies Super Market in Nedumkandam in Idukki District. He has approached this Court challenging the order passed by the fourth respondent transferring him to Super Market, Kumily. This Court, on 30/05/2014, passed an interim order staying petitioner's transfer from Nedumkandam to Kumily. This writ petition is filed on 30/05/2014. It is submitted by the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents 1 to 4 that the general transfer for the ensuing year is due. It seems that the petitioner has also made a request for considering him for transfer at Nedumkandam depot as per Ext.P6.
2.
I am of the view that this matter can be disposed of with the following directions:
W.P.(C).No.13729/2014 -:2:- i.
While considering general transfer, the petitioner's request for transfer as requested in Ext.P6 to Nedumkandam shall also be considered. ii.
The interim order passed by this Court will continue till a decision is taken in the matter. iii. This order will not stand in the way of the respondents 1 to 4 taking any action based on the disciplinary proceedings in accordance with law. This writ petition is disposed of as above. No costs.
